How it works

The price of custom jewelry is made up of the metal by weight, the jeweler's labor and the stones. A client who wants “a little ring with a diamond” usually doesn't understand how those parts add up and is afraid to hear the number. The quiz helps: first the piece, then the metal (silver or gold in different shades), the karat (14k or 18k), the weight and the stones.

Weight is asked with a slider and is labeled as approximate from the start: the exact weight is only known once the model is made. That caveat matters: clients tend to treat the quiz price as final, and gold costs exactly what it weighs. Metal prices also change, so tie the estimate to a date and say it's valid for a limited time.

Stones, from small diamonds to sapphire, emerald and ruby, are the most variable part of the estimate. Show a range for them rather than an exact amount, and back the estimate with photos of similar work. The 3D model and care guide the template promises are a strong bonus: a 3D model really moves the client toward ordering, because they see the piece before it's made.

With this template you can make a quiz in LeadForms: change the questions, images and offer for your business in about 10 minutes, no developer needed.

FAQ
The calculator multiplies the approximate weight in grams by the combined value of the metal and karat, then adds the piece type and stones. The client sets the weight with a slider. You adjust the per-gram prices to your price list in the “Results” step, and the jeweler gives the exact price after the sketch.
The template is free. You only pay for leads: 20 free leads when you sign up, no expiration, then from $0.20 per lead or unlimited from $19/month.
The weight comes from the slider and is multiplied by the price per gram for the chosen metal and karat, while labor and stones are added as separate values.
The exact weight is known only after the model is made, and metal prices change. Be honest in the result: call it a “preliminary price” and tie it to a date.
Yes, the metal and stone questions use images. Put photos of your own jewelry there, and the quiz doubles as a portfolio.
