Send leads to Google Sheets: every quiz answer in your spreadsheet

You want every lead in a spreadsheet your whole team can open. To be clear: LeadForms does not connect directly to Google Sheets. Leads reach the sheet through ApiX-Drive, a third-party connector you set up without a developer, or by webhook if you prefer your own solution.

Two ways to get leads into Google Sheets

Choose based on who will set it up. Either way, leads arrive automatically, with no one copying data from email to the sheet.

Through ApiX-Drive

The no-code route. Sign up for ApiX-Drive, link your LeadForms account to Google Sheets, and new leads go to the sheet on their own.

With a webhook

For teams with a developer. LeadForms sends each new lead as JSON to the URL you specify, and your receiver writes it to the sheet however you want.

Plus email and dashboard

The sheet does not replace anything: the lead also goes to your email and is saved in your LeadForms dashboard at the same time.

How to connect the quiz to Google Sheets through ApiX-Drive

ApiX-Drive is a separate service that connects LeadForms to other tools. You set it up with a few clicks, without writing code.

1. Publish your quiz

Create the quiz in LeadForms from a template or with AI, and publish it as a button, a widget, a block on your web page or a direct link.

2. Sign up for ApiX-Drive

Create an account with the service. It has its own terms and pricing, which you can find on its website.

3. Link the two accounts

In ApiX-Drive, connect LeadForms as the data source and your Google Sheets spreadsheet as the destination.

4. Test with a lead

Take your own quiz and check that the lead shows up in the sheet. From then on, every lead arrives automatically.

More details in the ApiX-Drive integration guide. If you take the technical route, the request format and fields are in the webhooks guide.

What data each lead brings to your sheet

A regular contact form leaves only a name and a phone number. A quiz gives you a row with the context you need to sell.

Answers

Each quiz question with the option the person chose.

Contact

Name, phone and email, plus address or comment if you asked for them.

Source

Lead date, UTM tags and the page the form was submitted from.

Result

What the person saw at the end of the quiz, such as a discount or a calculated amount.

First, a quiz that brings in leads

The sheet only stores what comes in. How many rows you get depends on what the person sees before leaving their contact details.

15–25% conversion

Vs 2–5% for a regular contact form: up to 4–6x more leads from the same traffic.

Questionnaire, survey or quote calculator

Branching logic, 12 question types, results, scoring, tests and a quote calculator with formulas to show a price.

Ready in 10 minutes

Start from a template or describe your business in one sentence and AI writes the questions for you.

Use a CRM? Kommo does connect natively, right from the quiz settings: see the Kommo integration.

Google Sheets FAQ

If something is missing, message us in the chat and we will answer.

There is no direct connection. Leads reach Google Sheets through ApiX-Drive, a third-party connector, or through a webhook to your own receiver that writes the data to the sheet.
With ApiX-Drive, no: you sign up for the service and link your LeadForms account to Google Sheets. With webhooks, yes: you need someone to build the receiver that takes the request and writes it to the sheet.
No. It is an independent service with its own sign-up and its own terms, which you should check on its website. Through it, the quiz connects to 50+ services, and Google Sheets is one of them.
The quiz questions and answers, name, phone and email, the lead date, UTM tags, the page it was submitted from and the quiz result, if there is one.
No. The sheet is added to what you already have: every lead still goes to your email and is saved in your LeadForms dashboard, with or without Google Sheets connected.
In LeadForms, creating the quiz is free, and you get 20 free leads when you sign up, with no expiration. After that, $0.20 per lead, from $0.15 per lead with the 100-lead pack, or an unlimited plan from $19/month. ApiX-Drive has its own terms.
