What Google Forms does well
Google Forms is free with a Google account, takes minutes to build, and you can view responses in Google Sheets. It can also send people to different sections based on their answers. For an internal survey, event registration or a questionnaire among coworkers, it is an excellent tool, and there is no need to replace it.
Google Forms for getting customers: what changes
When the goal is to sell, collecting responses is not enough. You need to give people a reason to start, answer “how much does it cost?”, ask for contact details once they are interested and alert your sales rep right away. That is what LeadForms is built for:
- An offer on the start screen. Before the first question, people see what they get when they finish the quiz.
- A quote calculator with formulas and a price inside the quiz. You assign a value to each answer, and the person sees an amount or a range calculated from their inputs. That is how the quote calculator works.
- A contact form at the end. Name and phone are requested after the questions, when the person has already invested a minute and wants their result.
- WhatsApp alerts and CRM delivery. Every lead goes to your email, WhatsApp or Telegram and your LeadForms dashboard. Kommo has a native integration; Bitrix24, webhooks and ApiX-Drive are also supported.
- A widget on your website. The quiz opens from a button, a banner, automatically or as a block inside the page. It can also live on its own page via a link or on your own domain.
- Step-by-step analytics. See at which question people drop off, and connect Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and Google Tag Manager.
So you do not start from scratch, there are over 400 industry templates, or you can generate an AI quiz from one sentence describing your business.

If your Google form gets no paid traffic and reading responses in a spreadsheet is enough, stick with it. If you spend on ads and every lead counts, a quiz performs better: 15–25% conversion vs 2–5% for a regular form.
How to switch from Google Forms to LeadForms
There is no automatic import from Google Forms. The quick route is to take a template for your industry or generate the quiz with AI, paste in your questions and publish: a quiz ready in 10 minutes. If your team works from a Google Sheets spreadsheet, leads can keep going there through ApiX-Drive.
Pricing
Creating the quiz is free. You get 20 free leads when you sign up, with no expiration. After that you pay $0.20 per lead, or from $0.15 per lead with the 100-lead pack, or choose an unlimited plan from $19/month. Details are on the pricing page.
