The difference is the pricing model
Form tools charge for responses received: if your campaign works, the bill goes up even if many of those responses are useless. LeadForms charges per lead, meaning per person who also left their contact details. Incomplete responses and people who drop off halfway are not charged.
That changes how you work: you can open the quiz to all your traffic, test offers and keep only what converts, without watching a response counter.
What LeadForms does that a form does not
- A quote calculator inside the quiz. The person sees an amount based on their own inputs before leaving their contact details. You build the formula with a few clicks, no code.
- Conditional logic with branching. Each answer leads down a different path, with a separate final screen for each scenario.
- Tests with correct answers and scoring. Use them to qualify by level before anyone picks up the phone.
- Dynamic discount and bonus. The reward grows as the quiz progresses or is given in exchange for contact details.
- Over 400 industry templates, already written and tested, instead of a blank page.
- An AI-generated quiz from one sentence describing your business.
An honest comparison
| Criteria | LeadForms | Form tools |
|---|---|---|
| What you pay for | The lead with contact details | Each response received |
| Incomplete responses | Not charged | Usually counted |
| Quote calculator | Included | Usually not, or through add-ons |
| Conditional logic | Included in all plans | Often in higher-tier plans |
| Industry templates | Over 400 | Generic, survey-oriented |
| CRM delivery | Direct or via webhook | Direct or via webhook |
| Designed for | Capturing and qualifying leads | Surveys and data collection |
We are not saying forms are badly made: for a satisfaction survey or event registration, a form is an excellent tool. If you need paid traffic to turn into sales calls, a quiz with pricing and qualification performs better.
How to switch to LeadForms
There is no automatic import between tools, so the quick route is different: take a template for your industry or generate the quiz with AI from one sentence, paste in your questions and publish. A complete quiz is usually ready in about 10 minutes.
Your current form can keep running in the meantime. The sensible approach is to run both side by side for a week or two and compare your actual cost per lead before turning anything off.
Pricing
You get 20 free leads when you sign up, with no expiration and no card required. After that you pay $0.20 per single lead, $0.15 per lead in the 100-lead pack, or choose an unlimited plan from $19/month. Full details are on the pricing page.
