What it is for
The wheel turns “leave your phone number” into a game: visitors share their contact for a chance to win, and you get a reason to call them.
Grow your contact list
A phone number in exchange for a prize. With a separate consent checkbox, you can also send promotions to this list later.
Seasonal promotions
Black Friday, Christmas, your company anniversary. Confetti, snowflake or heart decorations, and a schedule with the promotion dates.
First order
A discount or a gift on the first purchase helps people who barely know you make up their minds. The code stays handy: they just say it or type it when ordering.
A fair draw under your control
You decide what is up for grabs and at what odds. There is no way to game the rules from the visitor side.
You set the odds
Each prize has its own weight: the big one comes up rarely, the small one often. You can also add a “No prize” segment.
The draw runs on the server
The result is decided on the server. The odds and the codes are not visible in the page code.
One spin per number
A second try with the same phone number shows the same prize. Trying different numbers to get a bigger discount does not work.
Limits and your own codes
Each winner gets a code from your list. When the codes or the prize limit run out, that segment stops coming up.
What happens after a win
If your product is complex and a discount alone will not convince people, it is better to guide them to a request with questions. That is what a quiz does, and the button below the code can open it.
The code on screen
The code appears right away, and the “Copy” button puts it on the clipboard. You write the text for both the prize screen and the “no prize” screen.
The next step
The button below the code leads to the catalog, to booking, or opens your quiz. The visitor is never left holding a code with nothing to do.
The lead is yours
The phone number goes to your email, WhatsApp or CRM, just like a quiz lead. These requests are not billed.
When and to whom to show it
The wheel works best once the visitor has looked around the site: on exit intent or after scrolling. You set the rules in the editor.
At the right moment
A few seconds after the page opens, at a set scroll depth, when the visitor tries to leave, after a pause in activity, or not before the second or third page. Or only when someone clicks the side tab or an element on your website.
No endless repeats
On every page, once per visit, or at most once every N minutes. The widget stops showing once the visitor clicks the button, submits a request, or after the number of views you choose.
Only to your audience
Pages you pick by URL, visits from a specific campaign by UTM tags, mobile only or desktop only. A campaign offer stays hidden from everyone else.
On a schedule
Start and end dates of the promotion, hours and days of the week in the visitor’s time zone. A weekend promo turns on and off by itself.
How to add it to your website
No developer needed. You paste the code once, then turn widgets on and edit them in your LeadForms dashboard. Step-by-step instructions for each platform are in our guides.
Create the widget
Open the Widgets section in your dashboard and pick a type. Text and colors come prefilled with an example, so you only adapt them to your business.
Check the preview
The editor shows the widget on a website mockup and applies changes instantly. The “As on the site” mode lets you check when it will appear.
Paste the code once
One code for all the widgets in your account. If a LeadForms quiz is already on your website, there is nothing to paste: widgets run on the same script. The dashboard checks on its own that the code is in place.
Where it works
On any website where you can paste code, including through Google Tag Manager.
More widgets for your website
All widgets install with the same code. A button in any of them can open your quiz, and you build the quiz in the LeadForms quiz maker.
