In 2018, we ran ads for our clients and kept hitting the same wall: traffic reached the website, but requests did not. People came in, scrolled and left. The “leave your phone number” form scared them off right away.
So we tried something different: instead of the form, we asked visitors a few simple questions about what they needed and asked for contact details at the end, when they were already engaged and expecting a quote or a recommendation. Requests went up noticeably, and the sales team got them with the answers included, so nobody had to ask the customer again what they wanted.
Building those quizzes by hand for every client took too long, so we made a tool for ourselves. Then other marketers asked for access, and after them, their own clients. That is how LeadForms was born.
