How it works
Studying abroad starts with choosing a country, and that comes down to language and money. The quiz asks which languages the person speaks (English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese) and at what level, from A1 to C2. Then comes their current education, the program they want (a full degree, high school, a language course, professional retraining), the field, from IT and medicine to the arts, and what matters in a country: earning potential, climate, safety, culture, social life.
The yearly budget is set with a slider, and the last question is how far from home they're willing to study: 1–3 hours by plane, 4–6 hours or it doesn't matter. As a result, the quiz shows one of eight countries (the US, Germany, France, China, Spain, the UK, the Czech Republic or Australia) with a description of admission requirements and costs.
The country descriptions in the results contain figures: ranking positions, tuition costs, language requirements. They change every year, so check them before launch and keep them updated.
