How it works
Custom car mats are a product where the client chooses almost everything: how many pieces, what material, what edge trim. The template follows that list: quantity, from just the driver's mat to a full set including the trunk; material, carpet, EVA or faux leather; trim, serged edging, fabric or faux leather. At the end the client sees the price of the set.
The mat and trim color is a “Custom field” in the template and doesn't go into the calculator: color rarely changes the price, so that's fine. Add-ons (a connector piece between the rear mats, a metal badge with the car brand logo, custom embroidery, lettering made with a special technique) are the highest-margin part of the order, and they're worth showing with photos.
What the template is missing is the car's make and model. Mats are cut for a specific interior, and without the model the estimate stays approximate, so add a question about the car as the first step. Present the price in the result as preliminary: the shop gives the exact amount using the patterns for that model.
