How it works
Hardly anyone fills out a brief sent as a document or a long form: the client doesn't know what to write in each field and puts it off. As a quiz, the same brief is answered one question at a time. First, the person chooses whether they sell products or services, and depending on the answer, the quiz asks what exactly they sell or which services they offer. Then they pick their price segment (budget, mid-range, premium or luxury) and say whether they have worked with a marketer before.
If they have, the quiz asks them to rate the results of that work and explain why it ended. These are the answers that help you most to avoid repeating the previous provider's mistakes. Next, the client marks which specialists they already have on the team (social media manager, graphic designer, copywriter, marketing analyst or no one), what they need advertising for (growing sales or building brand awareness) and how they differ from competitors, in their own words. Finally, they set their ad budget with a slider and choose how they want to receive the plan: a video call of up to an hour, a PDF by email, a message or a consultation.
For an agency or a freelancer, this changes the order of work: you see the brief first, decide whether the project is a fit, and only then book the call. The final screen promises a proposal based on the answers, so the client expects to hear from you. You can edit the questions, the budget range and currency, and the answer options, and add your own steps, for example about the channels the client already uses.
