How it works
A cake order almost always starts with a picture: the client sends a photo from social media and asks "how much for one like this?". The quiz turns that conversation into clear line items: style (bento, classic, sculpted, tiered), theme, weight, filling, frosting, decorations. With these answers, the baker can already see the difficulty and the ballpark price.
Two steps at the end are worth pointing out. The reference upload lets clients explain things the way they usually do: they'll send a photo anyway, so it's better if it comes right inside the request. And the date they need the cake for is the most important question in this niche: bakers work by schedule, and "the day after tomorrow" and "in three weeks" are two different answers, sometimes with different prices.
What you shouldn't do is promise any cake on any timeline. Sculpted and tiered cakes need time for assembly and setting, and an honest note on the result screen ("rush orders are arranged separately") saves you trouble and protects your reputation. The bonus the template promises, free delivery and cupcakes, works better in baking than a discount: it feels like a nice touch, not like cheapening the product.
