How it works
A wedding budget rests on two numbers: how many guests and how much money. Everything else (the venue, the menu, the MC, the decor) is calculated from there. That's why the quiz asks both upfront, along with the celebration format and menu preferences. By the first conversation, the planner already has the outline of a proposal rather than a blank page.
A separate question asks whether the date is set. It splits inquiries into two very different groups: a couple with a set date is ready to book and talk about vendors; a couple without one is still dreaming and comparing. Giving both the same amount of time doesn't pay off, and telling them apart from a form that only asks for a phone number is impossible.
In this niche, the decision is emotional and slow: people choose a planner over months, based on a sense of trust. The special wishes field at the end of the quiz is there for exactly that: the couple describes their wedding in their own words, and you can build your first reply around what matters to them.
