How it works
Catering is sold through the menu, and the menu is a document nobody will read on a phone. The quiz turns it into an order builder: first the number of guests on a slider, then the sections needed, and only then the specific dishes within the chosen sections. The client builds their own event and sees how the total changes.
The last block (table setup, servers, decor, tents and furniture) often brings more margin than the food. In a message thread, it comes up at the very end; in the quiz, the client reviews the options calmly and marks what they need. The delivery date closes the request and shows right away whether the order fits the kitchen's calendar.
A note on size: in its original form, the template is huge, with sections for every case. Keep only what you actually cook, or the client gets tired halfway through. And separately, about alcohol: if you don't supply it, remove that section entirely, since selling alcohol requires a license and shouldn't be promised in a quote calculator.
