How it works

Garage doors are priced by the area of the opening and the type of door, and it's one of those rare cases where clients can provide the numbers themselves: the garage owner knows the width and height of the opening or can measure it in a minute. That's why the quote calculator here works honestly, without big assumptions.

The door type defines everything else: sectional, sliding, swing and roll-up doors differ in price and space requirements. Keep a "not sure yet" option: it's a direct reason for a consultation, not a lost lead. The operation type, manual or remote, is the second axis of the calculation: a motorized opener changes the total quite a bit.

The most useful add-on line is removal of the old door. Clients don't think about removal, but it shows up on the estimate and raises questions. Here, the client sees it on their own. The property address at the end tells you right away whether the job is in your service area, and the template's gift, a second remote, is a smart bonus that costs little and sounds good.

FAQ
The template is free. You only pay for leads: 20 free leads when you sign up, no expiration, then from $0.20 per lead or unlimited from $19/month.
Width and height are collected with number fields, and the calculator multiplies them together and by the price per square foot of the chosen door type. The opener and options are added separately.
Most clients can't tell a sectional door from a roll-up. Without that option, some of them leave; with it, the request reaches your sales team for a consultation.
Definitely. It's work clients don't factor into their budget, and it's better to show it in the estimate than to add it to the bill after installation.
No, the quiz does not accept payments. It calculates the cost and sends you the request; you collect the deposit the usual way after measuring.
