How it works

Landscaping scares clients because it's unpredictable: on the same lot you can build a $2,000 garden or a $30,000 one. The quiz removes that fear by breaking the budget into line items the client chooses themselves: area, design style, site prep, pathway finish, landscape features.

The most underestimated part is preparation. Demolishing old structures, removing trees, grinding stumps, hauling debris, drainage: all of this happens before planting and often costs more than the plants themselves. In the template, it's a separate question, and the client sees this work before getting a quote over the phone.

The garden style (formal, naturalistic, Dutch, Japanese) affects both the plants and the labor involved. An image question works better here than any description: the client simply points to what they like. The estimate stays preliminary: terrain, soil condition and equipment access are assessed on site, and the result screen should say so directly and offer a free site visit. The plant catalog in the template is a good bonus: people open it and come back to it.

FAQ
The template is free. You only pay for leads: 20 free leads when you sign up, no expiration, then from $0.20 per lead or unlimited from $19/month.
The area from the slider is multiplied by the price per square foot for the chosen style, and site prep, pathways and landscape features are added to the formula as separate line items.
Stump removal, debris hauling and drainage often cost more than the plants. When they're shown in the estimate, the final budget doesn't come as an unpleasant surprise to the client.
Terrain, soil condition and equipment access are assessed on site. It makes sense to offer a free visit in the result: that's the next step in the deal.
No, the quiz does not accept payments. It calculates the estimate and delivers the request; payment happens as usual, after the contract.
