How it works
A TV is chosen on two clear things, how much the person is willing to spend and what screen size fits, and from there the jargon starts and the shopper gets stuck. The quiz is well built: budget and screen size first, features only after that, and described in plain language: voice control, Bluetooth, ambient backlighting behind the screen.
The most useful part for the store comes at the end. The question about placement, on a stand or wall-mounted, leads to professional installation, and then accessories are offered: cable, soundbar, mount. These are the items that get left off the receipt, and here the shopper marks them while choosing.
It's important to understand the limitation: the quiz isn't a store. It has no cart and no payments, so the job is to show a shortlist of two or three models and get the contact; the sale is closed by a sales associate or the website. That said, a quiz like this does very well on social media and in ads: the shortlist feels like help, not like “leave us your details.”
