Short-term rentals are a market where guests compare dozens of near-identical listings and still can't decide. The quiz turns that choice into a conversation: it doesn't ask "which apartment do you need" but why the person is traveling (a beach vacation, peak season with family, remote work, exploring the area). Then, who they're traveling with (a couple, a family with kids, a group of friends or solo) and their priority: quiet, amenities nearby, a fully equipped kitchen, easy access.
The budget isn't broken down into numbers but into levels: budget and clean, comfortable and well renovated, premium. That's easier to answer, and there's less risk that guests lowball out of caution. From the full set of answers you put together a shortlist of two or three properties instead of sending the whole catalog.
The template is written for a beach resort town: swap the trip purposes and wording for those of your area. And the main limitation: the quiz has no availability calendar and doesn't accept payments. It collects the request and contact info, and you confirm the booking after checking the dates. For anyone managing several units, that's still faster than answering the same questions over and over by message.
