How messenger links work
Each messenger has its own format. If the number is written wrong, the link opens a blank screen or “number not found”, and the customer leaves.
wa.me/15125550147: the number in digits only, with the country code and no plus sign. The message text goes in the ?text= parameter.
Telegram
t.me/username: by username, always works. t.me/+15125550147: by phone number, if you allowed people to find you by number.
Country code
US and Canada 1, UK 44, Australia 61, India 91. Without the code, WhatsApp can’t tell which country the number belongs to.
Every messenger in one button
Some customers message on WhatsApp, others on Telegram or Instagram, and some want to call. The LeadForms multi-button puts every way to reach you into one button in the corner of the screen. It’s free and installs with a single snippet.
Customers choose
WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, phone and email in a drop-down menu. No extra buttons cluttering the page.
Your quiz in the same menu
A multi-button item can open your quiz on top of the page, so people who aren’t ready to message can still leave a request with their answers.
Only where you need it
Show the button only on phones or only on certain pages, and place it in a corner where it doesn’t cover anything on your site.
