How it works
A septic system isn't chosen by price but by site conditions. A home lived in year-round and a weekend cabin produce very different wastewater volumes, and with a high water table a gravity system with a drain field simply won't work. Until those things are clear, talking about price is pointless, so the quiz starts right there: the property, the number of users and the water table.
The water table question is the only one where visitors may draw a blank, so the template includes a "not sure" option. Keep it: people who don't know the answer will simply close the quiz. That answer is useful to you too: it means a site visit is needed, or at least a conversation about the neighbors, the well and what happens on the property in the rainy season.
The last key question is about installation timing. In peak season crews are fully booked, and an "as soon as possible" request is worth more to you than "just looking at options", even though both arrive the same way. The property address is asked right there, before the contact form: it shows immediately whether the location is within your service area.
