How it works
Clients come with a feeling, not a technical spec: the air feels stuffy, the windows fog up, cooking smells spread through the whole house. The quiz turns that into a system. The first real question is the type of ventilation: supply only, supply and exhaust, or heat recovery. The price difference between them is several times over, and it's easiest to explain right there in the answer options, with a short description under each one.
The air filtration level (basic, standard, premium) is the second axis of the calculation. Don't chase filter class terminology here; describe the result instead: regular dust, pollen and allergens, fine filtration. The client chooses based on their own situation, and you decide which filters go behind each level.
Extra features (noise reduction, control from a phone, humidification) are the ones that usually come up during installation. In the quiz, they're shown in advance and work as an upsell. The estimate is still preliminary: the real cost depends on duct length, ceiling height and whether a design already exists, and the result screen should say so and offer an engineer's site visit.
