How it works
To quote car insurance, an agent always needs the same details, and they almost never arrive together: the client writes "how much is insurance?" and then you have to ask for everything else. The quiz gathers those details in a short flow. First, the person chooses which policy to quote: mandatory liability coverage, full coverage or both. Then they enter the car's make and model and pick the year with a slider.
The next steps are the ones that move the premium the most: how many drivers will be listed (one to four, or unlimited drivers), the driver's age on a slider from 18 to 80, their driving experience (more than 3 years or up to 3 years) and the region where the policy is issued. With these answers, the agent or broker gets quotes from the carriers they work with and comes back with a concrete offer, instead of starting the conversation with a phone questionnaire.
Important: coverage terms and rates are set by the insurance company. The quiz does not calculate the final premium or issue the policy: it collects the details for the quote and the client's contact info. If you want to show an approximate range, you can add a calculator formula, but make it clear on the final screen that it is only an estimate. Policy types, the year range, driver options and all text can be edited, and you can add questions, for example about how the car is used.
