How it works
"How much does a renovation cost?" is a question that can't be answered with a single number. A price per square foot in an ad says nothing: the same amount could cover a cosmetic refresh or a full gut renovation with new plumbing and wiring. Customers compare quotes without understanding what each one includes and end up choosing blindly. The quiz asks the questions that define the budget: square footage, job type, condition of the apartment, and whether materials and a design project are needed.
For the contractor, this saves the main resource: site visits. Measuring takes half a day, and driving out to a place where the budget is three times lower than reality isn't worth it. The answers in the request show the scale of the job even before the first call.
It's important that the quiz doesn't replace a quote or pretend to be one: it collects the starting data and leads to the measurement. That's also more honest with the customer, because an exact price promised in the quiz that later goes up costs you more than the time you saved.
