How it works
Moving is a service where whoever answers the phone asks twenty questions anyway, just out loud and at three minutes per client. The quiz takes over that work: how many sofas, wardrobes, dressers, and boxes, which appliances, which floor, and whether there's an elevator at both addresses. Floors without an elevator are a separate line in the estimate, and you can't find out about them at the last minute.
The item list in the template is split into groups: upholstered furniture, case furniture, appliances, boxes. First the person checks what they have, then sets quantities with sliders, which is much easier than filling in an empty "describe your belongings" field. These answers determine the truck size, the number of movers, and the hours of work.
Extra services come at the end: furniture disassembly, reassembly at the new place, plastic wrap. Clients usually remember these only while loading, and the most honest approach is to sell them up front. The quiz is still a preliminary estimate: if there are a lot of items, add a note that the coordinator confirms the final amount. For completing the quiz, the template offers a "don't forget this when you move" checklist: a useful bonus people actually open.
