How it works
Cleaning is ordered for a specific item: something spilled on the sofa, the rug smells, the mattress is due. So the quiz starts with a list (upholstered furniture, chairs, rug, mattress) and only then asks for details: is the sofa straight or sectional, how many armchairs and chairs are there. The request arrives with the order already put together, and from it you can see the work time and the cost of the visit.
The last two questions set half the estimate. Kids and pets mean organic stains and odor: that takes different chemicals and more time. The client rates the level of dirt themselves: just a refresh, visible stains and odor, or everything's bad. It's a subjective rating, but it's exactly what sets expectations: a client who honestly marked heavy soiling accepts the price more calmly, and also that an old stain may not come out completely.
In this niche, it's generally worth managing expectations from the start. It makes sense to say in the result that the estimate is preliminary and the technician adjusts it on site after seeing the fabric and the type of stains. The gift for completing the quiz, the rug care product included in the template, costs pennies and works as a reason to leave contact details.
