How it works
A tire shop's price list is almost always a table: rim size across the top, vehicle type down the side, separate rows for low-profile and run-flat tires. In peak season nobody reads it: they call. The quote calculator puts the same logic into steps: vehicle type, tire type, rim size, number of wheels, services. The person sees the price for their own set and doesn't tie up the phone line.
It's especially useful that the template separates the tricky tires: low-profile, run-flat, off-road. These are exactly the ones that most often lead to the "they told me it was cheaper on the phone" argument. When the surcharge shows up in the calculation, that conversation simply doesn't happen.
Extra services (tire disposal, plug repair, patch) are listed separately, along with the number of punctures and cuts. They're small amounts, but in peak season they drive the average ticket. The quiz doesn't replace the line at the shop, though: in the result it makes sense to offer an appointment slot, not just show the price, or the person gets a quote from you and goes wherever the wait is shorter.
