How it works
People come to a lawyer in an uncomfortable situation and without knowing the terminology. The person can't answer "what do you need?" because they aren't sure themselves: they just want the problem to go away. The quiz gives them ready-made phrasing for what area they need help with and how urgent it is, so they choose from options instead of describing everything from scratch to a professional they don't know.
The most useful question in the template is about court representation. It's the one that sorts requests by cost and workload: a one-time consultation and handling a case in court are different services with different prices. When you know the answer before the call, the conversation starts in the right direction right away.
There's also a question about whether this is the person's first time hiring a lawyer. That one is about tone, not money: a first-timer needs the process explained and their anxiety eased, while someone who had a bad experience with another lawyer needs their trust rebuilt first. Knowing this before the first contact is more useful than figuring it out along the way.
