How it works
A lot for a home is chosen slowly and painfully: the listings all look alike, and the difference between one lot and another only shows on site. The quiz gives the buyer a structure, lot size, budget, setting, distance from the city, and turns a vague “I want some land” into a clear request you can actually build a shortlist from.
The most practical question is about utilities and paperwork: whether the lot is zoned for residential construction, whether it already has electricity, gas or city water. That weighs most on the real cost of ownership, and it's exactly what a first-time buyer doesn't think about until they run into the problem. By asking it, you're also selling the advantage of your lots.
The list of areas in the template is a sample: replace it with your own geography. Distance is asked with a slider, and that works well, because the person decides how far they're willing to drive. In the result, show two or three matching lots with photos, not the whole catalog: choosing among three options pushes people to go see them, choosing among forty paralyzes them.
