How it works
Many people know about prenups only by hearsay and can't tell whether they need one. The test doesn't hard-sell the service: it checks what people know. The first two questions are who can sign a prenup and what can go into it: the options include valid terms, like how to divide a home or a business, and things a prenup doesn't govern, like who the children will live with or how many times a month the husband can go fishing.
Next come four real-life situations: a home bought before the wedding, a home bought during the marriage, income from each spouse's business, and the rights to income from an app created during the marriage. This works better than theory: people recognize their own situation. As a result they see one of two outcomes, “A prenup will help you avoid mistakes” if they got answers wrong, or “You know family law well”, and both come with an invitation to a consultation.
The correct answers depend on the law where you practice, so have a lawyer check them before launch: a mistake in a lawyer's test hurts trust more than having no test at all. Don't promise “protection from any dispute” in the result: a prenup reduces risks, but its terms can be challenged in court. A good bonus for this niche is a free first consultation or a checklist of what to include in a prenup.
