How it works
Garden maintenance is easy to sell once and hard to sell on a recurring basis, even though the whole economics of the service is in that recurrence. The template accounts for this: first, the client picks the work (seasonal refresh, pruning and shaping, plant feeding, restoration, soil work, lawn care), enters the area in square feet and finally answers the main question: a one-time visit, once or twice a month, or seasonal maintenance.
There is a separate block on irrigation systems: startup at the beginning of the season, shutdown at the end, repair and adjustment. It's what property owners remember at the last minute, and it fits well into a seasonal subscription along with cleanup.
Major seasonal prep is separate for a reason: deep cleanup and protecting plants for the cold months are peak jobs, and crews get booked weeks in advance. By asking about it in the quiz, you see the season's workload before it arrives. The yard prep checklist included in the template is a good bonus: it's useful to the client and, along the way, shows them how much work is easier to leave to you.
