How it works
For a small hotel, the quiz helps exactly where there's no full booking engine: on your Google Maps profile, on social media, in ads. The guest picks the room type, single, double, suite, apartment with kitchen, the arrival date, the number of nights, breakfast for however many people need it and the view from the window. The front desk gets a ready request and only has to check availability and confirm.
Be clear about what the quiz is not. It doesn't see room occupancy or check open dates, and it doesn't take payment for the booking: if your offer promises a transfer “when you pay for the booking,” you collect that payment yourself after confirming. The honest line in the result is: “we'll check availability and send you a confirmation within an hour.”
On the other hand, a direct request has an obvious advantage: it's a guest with no platform commission. The view and breakfast in the quiz aren't just parameters, they're a soft upsell: the guest picks the ocean-view room and breakfast for two while they're excited about the trip. Put the direct booking bonus, an airport transfer, late checkout, free breakfast, on the first screen: it's the main argument against booking through a platform.
