How it works
Tinting is priced by vehicle class and by window, and a price list in table form is rarely read to the end. The quote calculator walks the client through it: first, what matters most (sun protection, privacy, keeping the interior from fading or film durability), then the vehicle class, from compact to van, and then the scope of work. The first question is not decoration: it tells the installer which film to offer.
Add-on services (headlight restoration, old tint removal, polyurethane headlight protection, taillight tinting, polishing) are a natural upsell that almost always gets forgotten in conversation. In the quiz, the client sees them on their own, while they are still thinking about work for their car.
One thing is worth saying upfront: light transmission for the windshield and front windows is regulated, and the minimum allowed depends on your local regulations. Heavy tint on the front can mean a ticket for the owner, and an honest shop warns about it instead of selling quietly. In the quiz, this fits well in the description of the "privacy" option: the rear can go quite dark, and the front windows only within what local rules allow.
