How to send your quiz leads to Kommo (formerly amoCRM)

product

A quiz collects the lead together with the answers: type of job, scope, timeline. But while that lead sits in your email, the salesperson is the last to know. The Kommo integration (formerly amoCRM) removes that gap: the deal is created the moment the form is submitted, with the contact and the answers inside.

Let's look at how to connect Kommo to a LeadForms quiz and what you configure when you connect it.

How to connect Kommo to your quiz

The connection uses OAuth: you don't enter your Kommo username or password anywhere; access is granted from inside the CRM itself.

  1. Open the integration card. In the quiz settings, go to the "Settings" tab → "Integrations" and click "Connect" on the Kommo card.
  2. Click "Install integration." The Kommo authorization window will open.
  3. Choose the account and grant access. In the pop-up, select the Kommo account you want and click "Allow."
  4. Set where leads will go and save. This is where you choose the pipeline and the owner, and set the deal title and tags.

The step-by-step walkthrough with screenshots of each screen is in the Kommo integration guide.

What you configure when connecting

  • The pipeline. Leads from different quizzes can go to different pipelines: for example, on-site measurements in one and wholesale orders in another.
  • The owner. The salesperson the deal is assigned to. If you have several lines of business, it's easier to build a quiz for each one with its own owner.
  • The deal title. Name it so the source is visible in the list: not "New lead," but "Quiz — kitchens, measurement."
  • Tags. They mark the lead's source and let you filter by it in reports later.
  • Additional fields. Besides the contact, you can send other quiz data to Kommo.

How to check that everything works

Don't assume the integration saved without errors: go through the quiz yourself, like any visitor, all the way to the end, and submit the form with a real number. Then check in Kommo whether the deal appeared, whether it's in the right pipeline, whether it has an owner assigned, and whether the answers came through.

It's worth doing this after every quiz change that affects the form fields or the set of questions.

If leads aren't reaching Kommo

  • The quiz wasn't saved after connecting. This is the most common cause: the integration was connected, but the quiz changes weren't saved.
  • Access wasn't granted. "Allow" wasn't clicked in the authorization window, or the wrong Kommo account was chosen.
  • The deal exists, but not where you're looking. Check which pipeline is selected in the integration settings: leads may be landing in the one next to it.
  • The test was done on a draft. You need to check the published quiz, the one actually live on your website.

FAQ

Do I need to enter my Kommo username and password?

No. The connection goes through authorization inside Kommo itself: you choose the account and click "Allow." Credentials are neither entered nor stored in LeadForms.

Can I send leads from different quizzes to different pipelines?

Yes. The pipeline and the owner are set separately in each quiz's integration settings, so different lines of business can be routed right from the start.

Do the answers to the questions reach Kommo, not just the contact?

Besides contact details, you can send additional quiz fields to Kommo. Exactly what's sent and how each field maps is shown in the guide.

What if the deal was created but without the customer's answers?

Check the additional field settings and run through the quiz again with a test lead. If the contact arrives but the answers don't, the issue is in the field mapping, not the connection itself.
